LOCAL RESOURCES IN SE WISCONSIN
Autism United of Wisconsin
The mission and passion of Autism United of WI is to improve the quality of life for each child, teen and adult on the Autism Spectrum — as well as their families — while teaming with caregivers and educators to enhance every individual’s unique needs, skills and goals. A variety of support groups are also available for autistic individuals and parents.
Wisconsin Autism Empowerment

This group provides autistic individuals or other individuals with disorders on the spectrum (and those who love them) to get together, chat, build friendships, and support each other. They also hold events that build social skills, engage creativity, and provide mentorship to bring down the barriers caused by autism. IndependenceFirst - Support Group for Professionals on the Spectrum

IndependenceFirst offers more than 40 programs, workshops, and services for individuals with disabilities. One of these programs (in partnership with Autism United) is a virtual monthly support group that meets every 4th Wednesday at 6:00pm. Islands of Brilliance (IOB)

Islands of Brilliance creates learning experiences developed specifically for neurodivergent children and young adults by using creativity, technology, and mentorship.
